"Tesoro del Mar" is the adventure ticket for couples and larger groups to our Island Paradise. This terrific sailor has plenty of speed for getting to all the action and our uninhabited islands very quickly and comfortably. All of our charters are private; your group will be the only guests aboard. We offer various trips customized for private parties, seniors, kayakers, and whale watching adventures. We feel this is really one of the last frontiers in the world. "Tesoro del Mar" is the perfect boat to explore the bountiful Sea of Cortez. Here you will find remote beautiful anchorages, secluded beaches and privacy found no where else in the world. Once aboard "Tesoro del Mar", the Sea of Cortez is at your fingertips. The sailing is spectacular and "Tesoro del Mar" is a very fast and stable boat. You can sail her as much as you desire, or kick back and let the crew do all the work. Wildlife adventure trips are part of every charter, and depending on the season, you will see different species of whales, manta rays, whale sharks, schools of dolphin, sea lions, and magnificent bird life. Few places in the world offer such a concentration and diversity of marine animals and birds as the Sea of Cortez (aka Gulf of California). Exciting encounters are commonplace as dolphin play off the bow of the yacht while underway, and whale spotting (during the season) can be a daily occurrence.

Sailing Baja SeaFaris also offers various learn-to-sail programs. Come aboard "Tesero del Mar" and discover what it's like to live on a boat full-time, along with playing with all the toys. Our programs are customized to meet your needs and desires. The novice sailor will feel at ease and learn at their own pace while the experienced sailor can sharpen their skills in new waters. What better place to practice your sailing skills, explore, and have a great time than in the magnificent Sea of Cortez?
"Tesoro del Mar" is graced with four double staterooms, and sleeps up to six guests (adults and or children). Three adult couples sleep in the main part of the boat in three double cabins with an in-suite head/shower. The crew sleeps in the 4th stateroom. One of the doubles in the aft stateroom has a safety net for small children.
Adults and children love the space and speed of this roomy sailing yacht. You can experience more of our scenic area in less time, and everyone will enjoy the view of the magnificent Sea of Cortez and its gorgeous sunsets from the aft cockpit or the roomy foredeck.
The beautiful main salon is spacious, bright and airy. The dining area comfortably seats eight around a beautiful varnished table. Outside the cockpit is very roomy, and has a large dining table. This is also a great gathering place to compare the days family adventures, and fish stories. As the sun sets behind the magnificent Sierra Gigantes Jimmy mixes a pitcher of his famous "Baja Margaritas", or an icy fruit smoothie for the kids. Estrella is skillfully crafting your meals with a combination of stateside favorites and delicious local cuisine tailored just for you. It just doesn't get any better than this!
For communications to La Paz "Tesero del Mar" has a cellular phone and VHF radio. Also included is a speedo, auto pilot, GPS, and a depth sounder. "Tesoro del Mar" is fully insured, inspected for carrying passengers in Mexico and carries all the necessary safety equipment.
